The Starving Artist Café is a unique collaboration between Chef Jason Morell and his wife writer Paula Martin Morell. With over 40 years of combined experience in some of the country’s finest restaurants. Jason creates unique soups, salads, entree’s, and desserts that are sure to please any diner. All soups, breads, sauces, dressings, and even mayonnaises are made fresh in-house daily.
Paula is in charge of the dining room, which is reminiscent of a French artists’ loft in a historical space with handmade wood and mosaic bars and works from local artists covering the walls and shelves. On many occasions, you can watch artists working on pieces or playing music as you dine. The art is for sale through the restaurant. More on Jason and Paula...
